What is the Paceline Leaderboard?

The weekly Paceline Leaderboard is a friendly competition where you’re matched against other Pacers to see who can earn the most elevated-heart-rate (eHR) minutes in a week. Perform well, move up Levels, and earn Pacepoints for top finishes.

When does the Leaderboard week start and end?

Leaderboards run Monday 12:00 AM → Sunday 11:59 PM in your local timezone. Any eHR minutes recorded during this window count toward your weekly ranking.

Who am I competing against?

You’re placed into a weekly group with 150 randomly selected Pacers who are at the same Level as you. Everyone in your group starts the week at the same zeroed-out leaderboard.

How do I get placed on a Leaderboard?

You are automatically added to your weekly Leaderboard as soon as you record your first eHR minute of the week.

If you’ve recorded eHR minutes before noticing the Leaderboard, you’re already in the competition—you just haven’t checked yet.

How are rankings determined?

Leaderboard placement is based on your total eHR minutes, with no daily cap for leaderboard scoring.

If two (or more) users tie on eHR minutes, ties are broken in this order:

  1. Current streak
  2. If still tied → users share the higher placement (e.g., both receive 3rd place; the next user is ranked 5th)

All eHR minutes count toward your ranking as long as they’re logged during the leaderboard window.

What rewards can I earn from the Leaderboard?

You can earn Pacepoints for finishing in the Top 10. Points are rewarded as follows:

PlacePacepoints
1st3,000
2nd1,500
3rd500
4th450
5th400
6th350
7th300
8th250
9th200
10th150

What happens if I don’t earn any eHR minutes?

You must log at least one eHR minute to appear on the Leaderboard. If you finish the week with 0 minutes, you won’t be placed or ranked for that week.
